Gaius Valerius Catullus ( Classical Latin: [ˈɡaːius waˈlɛrius kaˈtullus]; c. 84 – c. 54 BC), known as Catullus (/kəˈtʌləs/ ⓘ kə-TUL-əs), was a Latin neoteric poet of the late Roman Republic.
